There is a need to adequately prepare undergraduate medical pupils for medical placement in a mental wellness setting pertaining to their abilities and confidence. This study aimed to judge the effect of a mental health simulation workshop on the skills and self-confidence of medical students in providing treatment to consumers managing a mental illness. The research also evaluated the design associated with the mental health simulation workshop from an educational viewpoint. A pre/post-test survey was administered to a cohort of N = 89 Australian pre-registration nursing students. Exploratory element analysis identified three facets psychological state healing involvement, mental health evaluation abilities, and psychological state placement readiness. Analyses of pre-post differences indicated that every three elements were somewhat different involving the initial and follow-up reactions, with follow-up reactions becoming more favorable.
