Bleeding during and after surgery, a common and often critical issue, is a potential surgical complication. Our study focused on determining the incidence, patient details, underlying factors, and consequences of perioperative bleeding events in non-cardiac surgery patients.
A substantial administrative database was examined in a retrospective cohort study, pinpointing adults, 45 years of age or older, hospitalized for non-cardiac surgery in 2018.
